Project Summary:
- Acquisition of rare 80 acre greenfield development land in emerging GTA west market, Bolton
- Gateway site, prominently positioned on the northwest corner of Highway 50 and Mayfield Road
- Roads, services and zoning entitlements were undertaken to create an industrial subdivision of 73 acres
- Large land area provides for flexible development options to capitalize on many different market requirements
Results:
- Design Build facility of 150,000 square feet was secured to initiate vertical development
- Two land partnerships were created to pursue different niches in the marketplace
- One land partnership (46 acres) is dedicated to speculative state-of-the-art development and has completed phase one of its site development with a 627,000 square foot multi-tenant industrial facility
- Second land partnership (19 acres) will pursue high profile build-to-suit opportunities including potential retail uses to beheld as a long term investment
